COVID-19

School Closures  (Day Cares - NOT Impacted by The Covid-19 Virus)

Q: The Governor issued his Proclamation.

Does it include child care centers?

A: No. Child care centers are not included in the governor’s executive order. Sites should make closure decisions in coordination with local public health contact. A map of these contacts is available. If providers have questions regarding school or center closures, they can consult with their local public health contact, but are not required to call.

Our focus during this difficult time is the safety and well-being of our Children and Staff Members. MMCC is closely monitoring and complying with all state and local regulations and mandates from the CDC, regarding Child Care Center operations. Our highest priority continues to be the health and well-being of everyone who comes into our Facility. As we navigate the evolving impact of COVID-19 on our communities, we are requiring the following:

  • that parents coming to our facility must do so wearing a mask (or 1 will be provided to you upon arrival)

  • an MMCC staff member will accompany you to the hand wash station to wash your hands for a total of 25 seconds.

We would like to thank you for your patience as we navigate through the uncharted territories of COVID-19. While our 24hr Child Care Center will remain open to provide nourishing meals and a caring environment for your baby during this unprecedented time, we are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of everyone we encounter.

We also take seriously the role in supporting the CDC, state and local health officials and government leaders as they work to contain the virus and MMCC will do whatever is necessary to do our part.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who have been impacted by COVID-19.
